12 piece Classic French Provincial style formal dining suite including china cabinet with glazed upper section (94” tall), massive buffet with 6 drawers over 6 doors (128” wide), surmounted by a matching mirror back (53” x 101”), oval table with handpainted floral accents (110” x 52”) on massive twin pedestal base, and a set of 8 oval back chairs including a pair of armchairs and 6 side chairs. Overall antique ivory finish, heavily carved frames decorated with polychrome floral raised accents and parcel gilt tracery. Upholstered in floral silk damask. Originally purchased October 9, 1985 from Salon Francais Fine Furniture (Edgware Road, Paddington, London, UK). Original retail price at time of purchase was £18,000. In well maintained, excellent overall condition.
